Since this is all Germany's fault to begin with, and now that Germany has had plenty of time to mend their ways, not slaughtering Jews by the millions anymore, perhaps it is time for Germany to cough up half their territory, and let the Jews live there.

Unless, of course, you want to go back in history to when the Romans destroyed the Second Temple, and forced all the Jews they didn't kill or laid siege to until they committed suicide, out of Judea. In that case, give them half of Italy as well.

Point is, this should be a European problem, not a Middle East problem.

The Arabs had plenty of chances to get a better deal out of this, like way back in 1948. They gambled, and gambled, and gambled and lost, lost and lost. It's like that old "Lets Make a Deal" show with Monty what's his name. You take the money or what's behind door #1. Don't gamble if you can't pay up.

Your thread title says "we don't plan to recognize Israel." In fact, the PLO has (since 1993 at Oslo) officially recognized the state of Israel within the 1967 armistice lines, and this has been upheld in every agreement with the Palestinian Authority since.

The whole "recognize Israel as the Jewish State" is an entirely different matter - it's part of Israel's continuing effort to keep moving the goalposts in any negotiations with the Palestinians. It is also a blatant attempt to try to justify Israel evading its legal liabilities to the non-Jewish refugees that it expelled.

No country in the world has formally recognized Israel as "the Jewish State." Even Harry S Truman (who was the first head of state to officially recognize the State of Israel) made that clear distinction, as his own hand-written corrections on the draft of the U.S. response show:

Call me a pessimist, but I doubt that Israel would recognise a Palestinian state should it receive approval at the U.N.

I wonder where Hamas fits into all of this seeing how they refuse to recognize Israel and they call for the destruction of any Jewish state in the middle east. This should be fun watching this one play out.
