im us citizen i send already ds230 for my dad, yesterday i received check list for IV they ask me for petitioner marriage certificate but the thing is i send it already so i dont know what to do????? any advice thanks

Never send original anything. Only copies. If they want to see originals, then you personally bring them and come home with them. They are yours. If you sent an original marriage cert then the best thing to do, other than calling and advising them they have it, is to go the city/county clerks office and request another.

Hi there, in some cases you need to send a original copy if you know what I mean? Just go to and get a copy at the clerk!! It is a copy of your original certificate or a authentic copy!

Call them, talk to a supervisor and request a rechecking of your packet.
