Hi all,

I need help with completing the forms and will appreciate any advice, so please anyone who already passed thru this process i need your advice. How hard was this to do on your own? Should i get a lawyer?

One other question my fiance and I would like to make wedding arrangements and this will take time.

We are planning to get married 1 month before applying for the AOS. Is there a problem if his visa expires?

Please Please :help:

You don't need a lawyer for AOS; save your money for other things. If you have patience - which I'm sure you do after completing the K1, you can do it all yourself.

There are example forms here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

And a guide here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/guides

I'm on a different computer than usual, but there are a few individuals with great email signatures that have examples of their cover letters, etc.

You need to get married within 90 days of entering the U.S. If your finacee comes, you wait a month, and then get married - you are still fine. That is within the 90 days.

Thanks a lot for your help. I really hope i have no problems doing this myself. So, if my fiance visa expires and we heard nothing yet from the Departement of homeland in regards to his AOS. THIS IS OK?

No you don't need a lawyer you can do the 129f fiance petition on your won. Make sure you read the guides well and also check out the Moroccan forum for help with that particular embassy for interview time.

Read and then re read and read again. You need to make sure you understand what everything is and then if something confuses you ask before going ahead with it. You really can do this on your own.

The K1 visa expired the minute she land on US soil it is a one time entry and that's it. As long as you marry within the 90 days you are right to go and start AOS asap if you can. Because she is out of status if that's not done and its an awful feeling anyway waiting for AOS to be approved as we beneficiaries live in limbo till it is approved.
