Santorum said he would choose Newt IF he changed this or that and Cain chose Newt IF he would adopt his jobs plan. Gary Johnson flatly said he chose Ron Paul. It was not an important question, the answers showed what trash has been presented again. I do not plan to hold my nose and vote for Perry or Romney.

I'm not so happy with the field either but you seem a little full of yourself to refer to people as "trash".

He is also the only one that seems to understand that Bush ran the car into the ditch, Obama set it on fire and rolled it down the hill, Perry wants to drive it off a cliff in third gear and Romeny the same...in 2nd gear.

He realizes we need fundamental CHANGE in how things are done and the best way is to begin by burning our broken tax system and replace it with the FAIR TAX. Replace this social boondoggle with a system designed to RAISE REVENUE and nothing else! It is so completely fvcked up that these clowns bicker over who will pay what percentage and how we can punish this group or reward another group. Toss it out, eliminate income tax in every form and replace it with a consumption tax that is the same RATE for everyone.

This raises money to run the government, eliminates the damper on business and collects money fairly from everyone. Buffet will pay more than his secretary. Everyone is happy and we go from here.

He wants a Fair Tax? Well he is going to lose big time.

Ron Paul is my #1. Perhaps I'll start researching Gary Johnson a bit, though he really has no shot at winning. I think at the end of the day, Ron Paul is going to be our next president... especially if Perry keeps flubbing up on all his words. Paul and Romney will probably end up as the top 2. By the time we get to election, if it's Paul he would destroy Obama... if it's Romney, I think he would beat Obama... not real close, but not a convincing win either.

So I went out to watch the Republican debate last night. As one would suspect the majority are mumbly mouthed politicians all willing to throw this country even farther down the toilet than Obama.

Herman Cain, Ron Paul and Gary Johnson being the only ones worth a look.

Perry is as phoney as a $3 Romney. Both Perry and Romney should be sent to the corner with Dunce caps. Perry could do nothing but mumble his way back to saying he would repeal Obama care when he was asked about Texas having the 2nd highest rate of uninsured people in the US. Nothing he ever says from this point forward makes any difference.

Gary Johnson says flat out he wants the FAIR TAX, he has my vote so far. If we get a choice between Lord Downgrade and one of these airbrushed weiners, I will vote for the Libertarian again.

Michelle Bachman should go back to her day job, did anyone notice she was there?

Gingrich is there to play the kindly grandfather Republican but he seems more interested in reminding us that ANYone is better than Obama than in telling us what he will do as President. I am not sure that just ANY of them are better than Obama at being a worthless President.

The only one that could answer the simple (though stupid) question of which of them they would choose as a running mate was Gary Johnson. He wins.

The FAIR TAX has absolutely nothing to offer politicians. It has a LOT to offer the country, but as we see that is not important to politicians that use it to control behavior, social experiments, class warfare, gaining votes from one group at the expense of another, filling the pockets of people that are needed to comply with this nonsense.

The main people objecting are politicians and tax accountants. Tax accountants less so as they are replaced by Turbo Tax.

But funding the government is too important to leave in the hands of politicians.

If he succeeds in getting the FAIR TAX some more coverage and interest, it will catch on with PEOPLE. If it catches on with enough PEOPLE it may get forced down their throats. If you read and understand the FAIR TAX Act there is very little to disagree with unless you make up lies

I know about the Fair Tax and agree with it wholeheartedly. It will not even come close to garner the nomination though using it as a campaign platform.

From what little I know about it, the Fair tax is not compatible with the realities of politics.

It's so easy to change the tax code, we start off with a flat tax, next year we make exemptions of service men or seniors or the very poor or people who buy a solar system.

In no time at all you are right back were we are WITH a huge sales tax on top of it.

Ron Paul is such a quirky outsider, I can't even imagine who he would pair up with, one would thing a more conventional person to balance out the ticket.
