Yes it is important if you are filing K1. The amt of yrs. Worth of taxes is different for each embassy I think. I woul just have 5 yrs ready until they let u know

You definitely need your tax filings- most embassies require 3 years, but some recently wanted more.

With statement of account, do you mean a bank statement? If you are sponsoring on income only, this is not needed if you can provide current paystubs. A letter from the employer also helps.

Welcome to VJ. Could you give us more info about your timeline? how far are you in your visa journey? Thanks.

With Nigeria, I say even with the tax returns, the letter from your employer, and check stubs, I would include few bank statements just to provide more financial information for them to consider in your case. Please feel free to ask when you are not sure, but make use of the VJ information available and the wisdom of the members is priceless.
