this is for a CR-1

first of all, hi im new here and... honestly with all the information here... ive decided to send everything myself and not pay the $350 at rapidvisa.com

so thanks!

second of all..

im about to send the I-130 out and just need to clarify a few things..

the G-325A can be signed one for me... and my spouse.. i've read i can sign the one for her then i have read we cannot, can someone clarify?

and for my g-325 am i supposed to check mark "status as permenant resident" or check mark "other" and fill in the form number?

i have just translated the marriage cert at foxtranslate.com, $29, cant complain i got it sent in 3 hours.

luckily i have a very close family member that works in ICE (immigration and customs enforcement), thier in charge of taking away visas, not giving them out, so they cannot give me that much information in regards to the CR-1 process..now that person is going to make a sworn affidavit advising of the bonafide marriage, you guys think that would be good enough since that person is a sworn federal agent? or should i also send pictures of us at the civil registry in mexico?

thanks in advance i appreciate any info you can provide!

I don't believe you will be able to sign for your spouses G325. As for the sworn affidavit, that may be enough, but if you have a couple of pictures together it doesn't hurt to throw them in there, just don't overcrowd.

OCT / 16/ 2012--noa1 no txt/ no email PD

OCT /17 /2012-- recieved notice from the mail.

DEC /17 / 2012--- APPROVED NOA2

DEC / 22 / 2012-- recieved Hardcopy of Noa2

JAN/ 05/ 2013-- Recieved our papers to NVC

feb 11 2013__ paid aos

april 15 2013-- paid iv bill

aug 29,2013-AOS AND IV PACKET recieved nvc sept 3 2013

sept 6 2013 sent via email ds260

sep 27 2013 2tNVC- got email checklist

NOV 16 2013 sent nvc checklist document fedex istimate friday will recieve to nvc

nov 25 2013--nvc review our docs. waiting for cc

dec 6 2013 -- nvc email got 2nd checklist but case complete.

dec 13 2013-- got P4

dec 19 and 20-- passed medical

JAN 2, 2014 INTERVIEW DATE

You cannot sign your wife's form unless she gives you power of attorney to do so.

Check other and write "Form I-130"

August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
