Why is my entire medical history required for my AoS when the time comes.

What exactly are they looking for/at?

They need to make sure you have no communicable diseases that could harm the US population. It's nothing to worry about.

I wonder if you've heard a rumor though... the largest portion of your medical will be done in the UK before your interview for K-1 visa. Once in the US, you just need a vaccination supplement to make sure that your shots are up to date. Good luck.

The same medical report that you get for the K visa in the UK is what is needed for the Adjustment of Status. Public health issues / communicable diseases.

So not all my history?

I have the paperwork from the medical sat tucked away, so that's all I need to send them?

I don't really want to be sending in a set of records outlining my 'troubled teenage' years.

The medical from the UK will be taken at POE at added to your file. As I said, you will have to send a vaccination supplement only.

As for vaccinations I have a complete print out of all my shots.

I had my final one yesterday, my MMR ._.

When you have your medical in London, make sure to get a copy of the DS-3025, just in case the immigration dept lose the original, it has been known to happen.

Also what I did (just something I wanted to do and not necessary because of my age, 45) was have a full medical at my GP's so I could give the full printout to my new surgery here in America. I had the blood tests, blood pressure, all my usual readings too. It took about a week for the test results to come back. I asked for my medical records from the NHS but wasn't allowed I was told they belong to the NHS.
