Someone I know will be going to Mexico for a couple of months and I am wondering if there are any phone plans which will allow me to talk to her unlimited? As in we both are in the same plan and can talk unlimited even if she is out of the country.

The best plan that I have found is Skype. They have a monthly (or you can pay yearly) plan where you can call free to Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. Then a low rate to places outside those cities. The plan used to be called the Mexican Plan but it appears they have changed it to the Unlimited North America plan.

Take a look at purchasing a MagicJack for a computer and internet connection if you have one. I am using one while I am stationed here in Kyrgyzstan and I can call back to any phone number in the U.S. from my computer and anyone from the U.S. can call me from any phone, anywhere. It costs about $40 to start and then $20 per year after that, unlimited. check their website... http://magicjack.com/

08/23/2011 Application received/Routed to California Service Center NOA1 Sent.

08/29/2011 Called USCIS request for Expedited Processing (Military)

08/31/2011 Email from USCIS...Expedite Approved!!

08/31/2011 Email from USCIS 2-1/2 hours later...I-129f Approved!!!

08/31/2011 NVC Received

09/02/2011 Package left NVC via diplomatic pouch.

09/14/2011 Package received at U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan

09/15/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/16/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/17/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/18/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/19/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/20/2011 Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!!

09/21/2011 STILL Waiting for Packet 3 & 4!! Sent an email to Kazakhstan Embassy asking where it is.

09/22/2011 FINALLY received Packet 3 & 4 email at about 4:30pm to my (Petitioner's) email address and not Enn's.

10/25/2011 Visa Interview date!!!!!!
