just received my I 797c and realized I made a error on my fiances year of birth 64 verses 63. Her G325 is correct. The 797 shows the incorrect year due to my typo. The 797 says you can call to change a error? should I call or what should I do?

Then I would call to change the error if that is what the 797 says. It is best to do it now instead of them bringing it up later.

Best of luck to you both.

So i called the service center got through pretty quick. The response was send a letter to the california service center, reference the receipt number, tell them them what is the mistake and send a copy of the fiances birth certificate.. Not sure if I should do it or just see if it processes through and cahnge at interview? risk is will it get caught and cause a rfe?

Just to update. I called back a second time to the service center. Of course I got someone else. This time he did a on line correction..did not ask me to mail a letter. I have a referral number for the correction. Was very helpful. I think the lesson here is whenever you call the service center call a second time to see if the first answer is the same, especially if the first call doe snot yield a answer you expect. There are night and day differences depending on who you get!
