I-130 - #21 Last address at which you lived together

I married my wife on June 7, 2011. Several days prior, I stayed next door in her cousin's home. On the evening of our wedding, June 7, 2011, she and I stayed in her room until I left back for the USA on June 14, 2011.

Would my time staying with her in her family's home and in her room be considered having "lived together"?

Strictly speaking, you did not live together, you stayed together. Since you answered that question the way you did, an adjudicator could decide to issue an RFE for a lease showing joint tenancy or deed of co-ownership or nothing may come of it, I cannot say one way or the other what will happen.

still a little worried, wish we had found VJ befored we filed our I-130.

Well if we get an RFE , guess we'll be asking VJ member's advise. we are hopin we dont get aa RFE.

It looks like I answered this question wrong on my petition, but we didn't get any RFEs or questions about it during the interview. I stated right up front, in an evolution of relationship letter, that we 'lived together' in a hotel for 2 months while I was in my wife's country for our wedding and answered 'yes' to that question on the I-130. Also, one of my affidavits was from the owner of the hotel, stating that she personally observed the bone-fides of our relationship.

So I'm not really sure if we just got lucky or if that was OK with them. I'm just telling our story here in the hopes it will help.

I stand by my statement, "We have not yet lived together." I put this statement on my I-130 and it was approved by USCIS with no issues.
