Yeah from where we are its about the same distance to syracuse actually. But I've checked the prices and there is only about $100 difference (50 per ticket)...but with air canada I get my aeroplan points and can get good insurance on the tickets so I am able to cancel if they don't let me through, that price is also for myself and my daughter, who is just over the 2 yr mark (darn it, lol). Also we have family close to Toronto airport...we ALWAYS fly out of syracuse, it just makes sense usually. But with this case I'm not sure but I think it makes more sense to do it this way...

Fair enough . When we visit my Dad in Kingston we fly into Rochester (which is cheaper than Syracuse) and then rent a car and drive. It still turns out cheaper even with the car rental than flying into either Ottawa or Toronto (and we would still have to rent a car anyway).

Carry your immigration package with you and let them know you are just waiting for your interview appointment - there is no way you are going to compromise your situation at this place in the process by exchanging a near sure thing with the interview to start all over again, pay more money to AOS inside the US and run the likely risk of a denial for visa fraud. Seems pretty clear cut to me that you'll be returning for that interview - and who knows, by the time you actually leave, you may even have an interview date.

Yeah we live near Kingston, maybe I will check out Rochester. I hope the officers see it the same Makes sense to me!!!
