Hello Everyone.. How can I check my case if it starts with MEP? Is there a website I could go to ckeck my case? Thank you in advance for all of the help. :)

I think you can check all cases on the USCIS case status, whatever letters you have.NBC.MSC etc... followed by the number

Thanks for the response, I did go the USCIS web and I type in my case number and it tells me that my case number can not be found.. so I am a little confuse.

Ok then, if you are sure of typing the proper letters and numbers, you don't have to worry. This system of theirs is a good tool and a bad one too because it is not 100% updated all the time for everyone.I'll give you our example and it will sure reassure you. When my wife went through the process of naturalization and became a USC, this "case status tool" was working perfectly, from day one.In my case, i filed I-485 in July and the so called tool started giving me infos (interview date) only mid-september.So don't worry, check it like twice a week and.....Be patient !!

Saludos.

You can't use your MEP case number to log into USCIS. You can only use your USCIS receipt number on USCIS.

When you're at NVC, you log onto the payment portal (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) to see bills, pay them, fill out the DS-261/DS-260, etc.

I'm also very curious to know what MEP means...

MEP is the three-character embassy/consulate code for case numbers assigned at NVC when the beneficiary is in Mexico.
