Thankss everybody! I just feel I have to clear some things up!

I don't have hotel receipts and I don't have bank transactions.

I do have a passport stamp (pretty faded but it's there and all the Duration of Status thing), I have the I-20 of my first school and the I-20 of the school I transferred to. I also have my boarding passes to America and from America. I also have pictures of me and her on her prom day but not pictures of me, her and her parents together.

Would this be enough to establish proof of having met?

Yes.

When my relationship started with my now husband, I never thought of keeping records of my boarding passes when I went to see him in Lebanon. I do have the visa stamps in my passport and itinerary as well as the purchase of my airline tickets. If I knew back then that our relationship would have evolved to what it is today, I would have saved everything. I will be visiting him in November.....YEAHHHHH and will make sure I save all the boarding passes. :)

Chat logs don't help to establish that two have met. What about if there is no family pictures? I would assume they want to see that you met, and not necessarily with family.

Not true they don't care to see pics with family at all. OMG as Gary said pics are secondary and all they want is proof that you met. When I was doing this process I had no idea about boarding passes and so on and they never asked for them. When we got an RFE all they wanted were some pics of our meeting a 2 affadavits from friends that knew about our relationship and pending wedding. I had pics of my visits here to the USA and dated and place where they were taken and also of our Harbour Bridge climb in Sydney Australia so they knew we had met several times. Never used a chat log email nada suppose we were lucky but was never asked for them.

You can if you want but all I did was write on the back of my pics date and place and signed them as I did not have a date stamp on my camera. But honestly all they need is about 8 pics donlt overload on the photos ok ,you can use them at interview time if needed. But the boarding passes and receipts are fine . ANd donlt forget your letter of intent from both of you signed . Let us know your process ok and good luck.

It isn't that complicated.

For the 129f, you don't need to show evidence of an ongoing relationship. You just need to prove that you (1) met in person and that it (2) was within the last two years.

The easiest way to prove that you met in person is to send some pictures of you two together as a happy couple.

To show that it is in the past two years, you need an official document that has dates showing that you were in the same country within the past 2 years. To accomplish that, I sent photo copies of my passport stamps to her home country. You can also use boarding passes and hotel receipts as additional evidence.

Once you cover the two check boxes, you have satisfied the requirements.

I used a little bit of all these things in the packet. I put in pictures with his kids to show our relationship was know to my family and his. I sent letters from a friend and a letter from a relative to show that they are aware of the relationship. I sent receipts to show we were not just in the room. I sent boarding passes and passport. I also sent a copy of my knot wedding page to show we are planning a wedding. Altogether, I sent 5 pics of him, I, kids and Jamaica altogether.

While I am not using a lawyer, I am consulting one for help and she advised me you need to show them that there is a relationship AND that you have met in two years. Lots of photos do not show both so balance out what you give them.
