A little baby is a big item of evidence in this case. You should certainly send the ultrasound picture, as well as copies of any medical bills for your child that you're paying. And, yes, send the tax returns, joint bank statements, so forth. I'd also think about letters and statements from family members and friends that can confirm you guys are living as husband and wife. (If you're in a church, a letter from a minister or priest is good.)

Has she done this process before with anyone else? Or could she have a name that is close to someone else's in the system that USCIS thinks is trying to defraud them? You guys may be doing everything right, and something else is interfering.

Give them every piece of evidence you can. Think quality AND quantity. Give them an inch of paperwork to go through that all says the same thing.

Care,

Bill

A baby is not evidence of a good faith marriage. A child which parents share the responsibility for IS an item of evidence. If you have a childs in school and both people are listed as parents, emergency contacts, if both people sign permission slips and participate in the childs education and healthcare, then YES, great evidence. A fetus is only evidence of a pregnancy. Get the doctors record that shows him as the father/responsible party/emergency contact and you have something. An ultrasound is just a funny looking photo of something.

OP, what exactly DID you send? Just a little random sampling of things is not enough. The instructions are clear, and there is a lot of valuable information here on VJ about what is needed/wanted. You need to show evidence from the entire span of your marriage, and there are specific things USCIS is looking for.

This is not the first post in the recent past where someone gets angry with USCIS when they have not followed the full instructions, nor done enough research. It is unfair to place blame in the direction of USCIS.
