Are referrals allowed in signatures?

I added links to two services I use daily and that have helped me cut my bills while talking to my fiancé or have generally simplified my life. The links are my referrals and the person using those links will get extra storage or minutes. Now, I know that on some boards posting referral links is frowned upon, but I have not found anything about it on VJ.

Is this ok or should I remove it?

Actually, it is not ok. You are not allowed to post any links to sites which, directly or indirectly. provide you with any sort of benefit (financial or otherwise). It is addressed in the Terms of Service: http://www.visajourney.com/content/terms

Thanks, I'll remove my referrals and just keep links to the websites.

You will also need to remove those website addresses as well unless you receive written permission from Captain Ewok, Site Administrator, allowing this sort of advertisement. You can make reference to the great service you provide in a discussion, but you can't have a parked advertisement for them in your signature without written permission. You can request that permission by using the Contact Form at the bottom of this page.
