Im really sorry for that.. just like us we had the interview but still now in ap and waiting... but we can't ever get in touch with the embassy so we have to rely on DOS for updates... which really doesnt tell us much. Hopefully you and carolyn will find your case completed soon and the rest of us as well... inshallah!

Another week has gone by and we are still in AP. The embassy won't return my Senator's emails. I'm starting to give up hope of ever getting out of AP. It's so hard to wait and not know if in the end you will get the visa.

Why do they have to make this process so painful? I pray that the rest of you will get out of AP soon.

Hi. My hubby was interviewed last August 10th at US Embassy Manila but he haven't receive his visa until now and it's almost 2 months of waiting. Reading all notes above makes me so desperate about it. Hoping all the best for everybody.

Since were past the 3 month bench mark were allowed to make contact with the Islamabad Embassy, However, since these people are complete

tools.. We can't reach them, the number on the website doesn't go through ! Do you know of any other way to reach them?

Since were past the 3 month bench mark were allowed to make contact with the Islamabad Embassy, However, since these people are complete

tools.. We can't reach them, the number on the website doesn't go through ! Do you know of any other way to reach them?

I received two emails.. one in July, and one in August when I emailed them once per month but haven't had any emails in September at all.. emailed once and then about two weeks later i tried again thinking maybe it just didnt go thru...

They wont answer emails they wont get the phone lines working there is no other way unless you go there but then they wont let you in...so ive contacted my congressman as of yesterday...

Good for you that you contacted your congressman. My Senator's office just sent 2 emails to Islamabad and they never answered. I hope your congressman is able to help you.

Thanks Carolyn... we wanted to wait to let them do their job without calling the congressman but after not getting any updates from the embassy and by not doing his name checks prior and right after the interview waiting 6 weeks to even begin them its just ridiculous.... i dont think any of us mind the extra checks its the hold up in the processing that makes us upset.. and its not right... after evthing is satisfied and done and cleared then why dont the move forward?

My congressmans office is known for his immigration ideas/laws and desire to help so im praying we got the right congressman to get the job done...

Were the emails just long automated responces? Because that's what I got and it was useless, what e-mail did you contact?

BTW I contacted mt congressman and even he doesn't respond. This whole thing seems like such a waste

It was a canned email response.. yoru ap is pending processing and will contact you when complete...

Congressman called me yesterday and today called me back after i signed the form authorizing his help... he said this morning they would send a formal inquiry today and let me know if they receive anything... they will be on top of it bcos im thinking he is up for re election this year :P

12-17-11 - POE - YYC (preclearance in Canada)

2011 to 2013 - Life happened

06-26-13 - Divorce finalized

10-07-13 - I-751 divorce filer paperwork journey begins

07-03-14 - ROC interview - approval pending delayed background checks

07-25-14 - APPROVED! 10 year GC is finally in production!

08-01-14 - 10 year GC in hand. The journey has finally ended. :)

2014 to 2020 - Living paperwork-free and focused on me!

11-09-20 - N-400 filed online - welcome back VJ fam!

6-22-21 - Interview in Nashville, approved! And then...

6-22-21 - Pledge of Allegiance taken. Holy shirtballs I'm a US Citizen.
