My husband has been in AP for almost 3 months now, and I am at the end of my rope.

Did anyone have their visa issued in a quick AP process?

I NEED SOME HOPE ! The DOS is NOT helpful at all.

Im right there with you.. :( im so sad :( just wanna be with him so much.... no news from our end that's for sure

06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

My husband got his visa today! It has been 2 1/2 months since interview.

Our Journey

Met: 02/25/2010

Married: 08/12/2010

I-130 sent: 02/11/2011

NOA1: 02/14/2011

Request for expedite: 02/24/2011

NOA2-I-130 APPROVED!: 03/16/2011

Interview date: 7/7/2011

Visa in Hand!!!! 09/21/2011

We have been in AR/AP for 10 months. Try to have courage and be strong. Keep yourself busy by preparing for his arrival. Go out with friends and do things with your family. Try to find something to take your mind off of the visa process for a few hours each day.

4 months since case is in AP, I truly believe success is not too far. (A minute's success pays the failure of years) Insha Allah Success is very close to us.

Yesterday my interview went well and after long questions the CO gave me two sheets one is green administrative processing and other is blue which administrative processing box mark and the CO is very polite and told me that it will take minimum one month and maximum 6 months and also he kept my passport and also he told me that your file is complete and nothing wrong.........and alomost all applicants put on AP...

Called DOS friday praying for a miracle for my bday on Monday... she tried really hard to find something new but nothing... just working on it still.. pending... :( anniversary oct 2nd... wonder what this week holds? :(

06-13-11 - I-130 approved
10-13-11 - CASE COMPLETE!
12-02-11 - Interview - 221g due to a washed passport
12-17-11 - POE - YYC (preclearance in Canada)

2011 to 2013 - Life happened

06-26-13 - Divorce finalized

10-07-13 - I-751 divorce filer paperwork journey begins

07-03-14 - ROC interview - approval pending delayed background checks

07-25-14 - APPROVED! 10 year GC is finally in production!

08-01-14 - 10 year GC in hand. The journey has finally ended. :)

2014 to 2020 - Living paperwork-free and focused on me!

11-09-20 - N-400 filed online - welcome back VJ fam!

6-22-21 - Interview in Nashville, approved! And then...

6-22-21 - Pledge of Allegiance taken. Holy shirtballs I'm a US Citizen.

Because most of us are from MENA countries the men have to endure more security and name checks... we don't mind because we have nothing to hide its just it takes soooo long and they wont tell us anything but pending... thats going to be our four letter word for a longgg time after this... :( just wish they could find a faster way...its been 3 months for us but longer for others...
