Can't schedule a Montreal Appointment?

I received my pkt 4 (k1 visa) two days ago and all of the forums I've been reading, many dating back to May, leave me quite frustrated.

My proposal is that we gather as many people in this forum thread as we can who are in the same boat. That way when one person finds openings, they can schedule it then immediately announce their findings here.

There are already 3-4 other posts about this exact same thing where people have gathered waiting for appointments lol

I think its a great idea!! This is the most frustrating thing I think I have ever gone through, and I think the more people around saying they are going through the same thing and helping eachother if at all possible, the better.

Inky are you still waiting on an appointment? It appears from your timeline you already have your green card?

Oh I see, wasn't looking that carefully, but I see that now, so do still have to schedule through the website for that? Such a process!!

No they give you one randomly based on what your local ASC center is like ( busy, backed up, etc )

So far most of the people who applied in September to CSC have an appointment, people who applied at VSC theres only 1 person who has one lol...

Depending on if you get a 2 yr card you will have more stuff to do when u get state side in 2 years lol wacko.gif

edit to add ~ looks like you may get a 10 year since ur married longer than 2 years? which is nice because you can skip what I have to do!

Luckily my husband and I have been married for 4 years so we won't have to do that! But my heart goes out to those who do. After going through all this having to do more in 2 years would be crazy... atleast you are together though :)

now we are yeskicking.gif, hes been gone more of the 2 years than he has been home though! lol He just got home today actually this morning.

ahh, its tough, my husband was away for an additional 4 months (home for a month) and then away again to start this process...soon he will have been away for more of our daughters life then he has been here. It sucks. Well I think we should leave the forum for what it was originally intended now! lol, you can message me if you like though.

You guys should create a twitter or something, might be faster and it would alert you when someone had updated it (I think)(by that i mean that twitter would alert you when someone tweeted "THERE'S APPOINTMENTS", not csc would alert twitter lol)
