I would say it's a good indication. At least your file is moving. Somebody is doing something with your file. When did u had your interview?

My one was on 24th March. I'm in AP since thn and my file status updated twice. Seems like you'll come out of AP soon, inshallah. Good luck.

Do you know if there's any significance behind the color of the 221g sheet? My husband said his is light green, not blue, and on it, they didn't ask for any further documentation.

Well, i think this is the sheet they call blue sheet! but yeh color wise it is light green, not the exact blue-blue.

In that sheet the CO tick marked in this section:

"Section 221 (g) which prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto. The following remarks apply in your case" - Here the CO sealed the below remarks:

"Administrative Review
We will contact you as soon as we receive the result"

at the right bottom you can see "OF-194, 10-2007"

Also i got this in google, source isn't that authentic thou: http://allabout221g.wordpress.com/types/

Don't know what they're upto. But I would say it's a good sign. They must've done something with your file. Probably it's making its final journey towards ready and thn issued. Good luck.

@ BDBOY2013

just curious to know did the councilor gave 221(g) to ur relative...? I'm not under 221(g) and even the councilor said approved to my case but still i'm under Administrative processing...!

I'm not sure if has got any kind of docs from CO. His wife has got visa on next day. They also approved his visa too but they told him it will take time to process his visa. He's online case status says he's in AP. normally US embassy give white slip 221g for visitor category. I'm not 100% sure though. Thanks.
