can anyone tell me how much time they really need for AP ?? in their web site they said most of the cases are approved within 60 days ? but most of us are here are waiting for more than 2 months without any result. What they do in this AP step ? what are the things they check ?

Hi,

There is no time limit for AP. My husband is in AP, and it's been over 9 months now. And there is no answer on what they actually do. Some people say they do name checks or additional background checks. Other then that every time we call the embassy or the DOS they will only give us one answer, that the case is still in "Administrative Processig".... Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm in AP since last 5 months. Nobody knows when it will be over. Hope it'll be over soon. But many of us are waiting for more than 6 months. Thanks.
