Dhaka, U.S Embassy Administrative Processing Time

My husband got a call to redo his medical on 12/1. He redid it that day and I noticed our case status on CEAC change from "Administrative Processing" to "Issued" on 12/5. The Embassy called him on 12/8 to pick up his visa on 12/17. Hope this helps! Don't stress out about it, the waiting game is over and you're soo close now!

Thanks for your pacifying message.

mkaurd is right: fill out DS260. I didn't know Bangladesh shifted to the online form. They were still using DS230 when I filled it out 6 months ago.

Hi!

My husband did his medical again and dropped off his passport yesterday. They gave him a small white paper that metions to pick up his passport on 9th February. And it was checked on the DS 230 box on that paper! Was it the same for your case? Does this mean his visa will be issued?

Thank you for your help! :)

My husband's passport was already at the embassy, so he didn't have to drop anything off after completing his second medical. Keep checking your CEAC status online -- it'll say "Issued" when AP is complete and the visa is ready. If you're really worried, send the embassy an email and they should reply mentioning the 2/9 pickup date so you'll have that as evidence in case anything goes wrong.

Honestly, I think you guys are fine. Your husband will get the visa on 2/9.

Thanks to all, to give me hope and support during the whole frustrating journey. And whoever is still in administrative processing, I pray and hope they will get call from the embassy soon.
