Just for fun, lets look at the "right guy for the job" shall we?

- Lack of policy stance, Obama, Mr Vote Present..... has been a bit lacking in this department as well wouldn't you agree?

-In ability to debate anything. while she never got the chance to debate Obamer she did take on Joe Biden and by most accounts broke even or won the debate (against a guy who has spent decades in DC)

Danno, if you are trying to imply that sarah is somehow qualified to be the president, you are either ignorant or a liar. Or I suppose you could just be trolling. Sorry, but Sarah Palin is too dumb to be president, as was George W. Bush. Palin took on Biden, but she didn't win that debate. It was considered a mild moral victory for her because she managed to not make a complete fool of herself. If that is your standard for a candidate and for America, I feel sorry for you.

Oh on the contrary, I have said all alone the farther Obamer drives this country into the toilet, the more likely palin would win... in the unlikely event she were nominated.

As the Poll shows, even those in the middle will will lean towards her.. rather than endure Obama until 2016.

I didn't think so. From what I remember she was a rhetorician, and not a very good one, who trotted out party political talking points before jacking it in for media royalties.

I don't have time to read this whole thread, but it was on the news last night that Palin's husband has filed for divorce. Her political future has all but vanished. She has too many skeletons in the closet.

I only see the telegraph and Daily Mail reporting that. Do you have a domestic source confirming that report? Having been divorced does not preclude you from succesfully running for the presidency, but having 3 brain cells fighting over the same thought does.

In the eyes of her base, a divorce would be a stake through her political heart. And it's not just the divorce, but the rumors of affairs that both she and her husband have had over the years. My hunch is that they had some sort of open marriage - but like their own, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," policy.

Being divorced shouldn't make a difference but it tends to become political ammunition. Of course its hard to have much sympathy as I don't believe Palin has the integrity to stock to that line if it were about a political rival.

Steven, I think you forget that Reagan was divorced as well. Ultimately, if she does get divorced, it would depend on the circumstances that led to it. If her husband filed for divorce because he found home made porn videos of her running a gang bang, then yeah, that might disqualify her from running. But if it is "irreconcileable differences", not so much.

Without a single commercial? Seriously? ####### do you call her appearances of Fox News? Thats all free PR that goes along with her sad little bus tours she takes each and every month. Just because her SarahPAC pays for it doeasn't mean that she isn't spending money on her 'campaigning'
