I am looking into the N-400 application and I have question on the Selective Service Registration. I came on LPR Feb 1981 to US and I was 23 year old at that time. I remember sending a Registration form with in 15-30 days of my arrival. I have no idea what the number they gave me if they gave me any. It is been 30+ years and I have no idea. They are asking for the number in the application. What would I say about it? Is there any place I can call to find out if they gave me any number at that time?

I would leave it blank. At your age ( 50+ ?) you are way past being eligible for the selective service. The upper limit for entering the US armed services is 34.

You can check on their website... www.sss.gov and see if they can pull your record assuming you have the same A# since 1981.

Thank you. I'll call them any way to find out my registration information and if any number is assigned to me. I looked on the website and it says.

* Men born from March 29, 1957, through December 31, 1959, were not required to register because registration was suspended for several years in the late 1970s.
