Everyone,

My fiancee' interview letter indicated to present birth certificate at time of interview... Well this could be a slight issue because she has readily available a Domicle Certificate and letter from air force head quarters stating her name, parents name, date of birth, place of birth etx... and she also has the B-Form with all sibling and parents information...

Obtaining a birth certificate can be proven challenging as time is short before the interview date.

thougths please....

Thank you

It is clearly stated;

     Original Union Council Birth Certificates and translation for all applicants born after 1960. If the birth was before 1960 and was not registered, a sworn Affidavit of birth from a close relative or family friend who is older than the applicant.

My fiance went to the NADRA office, and they told her "they no longer issue birth certificates, and that she will have to travel from Islamabad to Karachi, as her birth was registered in Karachi...."...

She has the following documents attested thru Home ministry,

Form B

Domicile Document

Airforce Headquarter letter of birth

NADRA Family Tree Card....

.... The interview is on October 4th, and I'm trying to figure out an alternative to avoid delay beyond interview... Anyone experienced the same as we are this moment?

If NADRA indeed is able to issue a birth certificate, how long it takes, and where can she go to get it done?

I know there has to be someone on this site, who's been thru the K1 interview and dealt with birth certificate as part of items listed on interview letter...

Please help.

thank you,

S
