IM HISTERICAL RIGHT NOW! I JUST DONT GET IT WHY WE NEED TO UNDERGO ANOTHER VACCINATION WHEN WE HAD IT WHEN WE WERE BABIES...I THINK AMERICA IS ASKING TOO MUCH OF A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY ABOUT THIS VACCINATION THING...FIRST, WHEN I WAS BORN MY FAMILY HAS NOTHING AT ALL AND I WAS BORN IN A PUBLIC HOSPITAL WHERE IN RECORDS ARE NOT KEPT WELL AND EITHER MY MOM OR MY DAD THINKS THAT I WOULD NEED A RECORD OF MY VACCINATION IN THE FUTURE, SO IN SHORT THEY NEVER KEPT IT AND THEY EVEN SAID THERE WAS NO RECORD GIVEN TO THEM...NO BABY BOOK! BECAUSE THAT WAS 32 YEARS AGO..IMAGINE THE QUALITY OF LIVING BEFORE...IT WAS JUST NOW THAT ALL THESE THINGS BECOME 'IN' KEEPING RECORDS OF BABIES...LIKE MY DAUGHTER 12 YEARS OF AGE HAD VACCINATION BUT THE LOCAL CENTER DIDN'T GAVE ANY RECORDS TO PROVE, OR RECEIPT OR SO WHATEVER...WE JUST FALL IN LINE W/ OTHER MOTHERS WHO ACCEPTS FREE VACCINATION IN A LOCAL CENTER...THAT WAS IT! NOW WHERE IN THE WORLD WOULD I START FINDING MY RECORDS SINCE MY MOM SAID WE MOVED FROM PROVINCE TO PROVINCE, CITY TO CITY....

AND THIS IS ANOTHER THING WHY I DONT CONSIDER ANOTHER VACCINATION FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER

I dont get why your daughter 12 yo has no record. My son who is 13 yo do have records I bring along at the Health Center whenever he is scheduled for a vaccination. Plus, The Center do keep record even if you lose your copy. Why not go there and secure that. Of course, US would want to be sure that everyone going to the country are safe from any contagious disease. Just merely saying we got the vaccination from before is not sufficient evidence to prove the veracity what we say. There should always be a material evidence to support our fact.

maybe you could try going to the clinic and explaining your case and having them fill out s record for you. sometimes a little money goes a long way too. there is also an option to show you are morally or religiously against vaccines but i've heard it's an expensive and long process. some people do this because they use aborted fetuses in the vaccines so it is easy to say you have a moral or religious problem with them. there are many other problems with them but that is an easy reason to refuse. just not sure the US government cares too much about immigrants' morals.

Your mother may not keep the record but the health center does. They need appropriate record to know which vccines the child needs to have and also when it should be administered. You were probably unaware of the record which she brings with her at the health center, but in here we mother or guardians who bring the child for vaccinations need to bring it for the health workers to know if its already the schedule of the child or what vaccine is due to be given.

Please note... the cost of the vaccinations required are included in the medical exam costs

provided at St Lukes. That is one of the reasons that the cost is quite expensive in PI

standards.

relax! even if you don't have vaccination records, a simple blood test can be done to check your titer, meaning they can tell if your blood level is therapeutic or not. they will only give you (shots) what you need.
