Greetings all,

The Texas Service Center received our K-1 package on September 9, and I have not received any notice of payment processing since then. Is this the normal turnaround time, or should they have taken the payment already?

I am aware of the 2-3 week waiting period until the first NOA, but my fiancee has informed me that the payment processing period is taking peculiarly longer than other cases we observe. I appreciate any help!

Sometimes they take longer. Don't get worried just yet. I would say give it a few more days. Maybe call USCIS on Friday and see what they have to say about it.

Best of luck!

That is a little too late, my package was received on September 14th and I received my NOA1 online notification email yesterday the mail receipt should arrive in 7-10 Business days.

I think they usually process payment within 2 business days of receiving the package before they look to make sure the package is complete in terms of missing crucial things (ie. check is signed and all the I-129F pages are there)

If it is a check, then you could check your bank account to see if it has been cashed. If you didn't sign up for electronic notification, then it could be your N0A1 has been sent, it takes 7-10 Business days to arrive.

I would call by the end of the week for sure, if you havent received anything.

We used Vermont, but they cashed my check in a matter of a week, or less...I was very surprised.

I just called Customer Service about the payment, and the representative informed me to wait at least 30 days until I can check-in on its status.

Does it really take this long in some cases?
