We received Nick's green card in the mail yesterday and are overwhelmed with happiness. Just thought I'd update for timeline purposes as well as a bit of other information. Despite Nick's criminal history, we did not have an interview. We also didn't include either the DS-3025 OR the I-693 for Nick's completed vaccinations (at his K1 medical exam.) We couldn't find the DS-3025 from his exam so we just wrote on the cover letter for the I-485 that we believe they were forwarded at the border upon his point of entry and included copies of his vaccinations printed from his local GP. We were definitely waiting on an RFE for this but it never came. I'm sure it'####### and miss for that and we may have just gotten lucky but I still thought I'd update whoever would be interested.

The original DS-3025 was in your medical file. That's all they need if it was complete. (p.4 of the I-693 instructions mentions the DS-3025 must be included with the original medical records to count.)

Oh wow, I wish I'd known that! Wouldn't have changed what we sent in but would have definitely relieved some stress! So then K1 applicants don't have to include any vaccination records with their AOS package if they had all immunizations completed by the time of the K1 interview?

The original DS-3025 was in your medical file. That's all they need if it was complete. (p.4 of the I-693 instructions mentions the DS-3025 must be included with the original medical records to count.)

I've posted it a gazillion times, but a K1 who is up to date at their medical with the AOS required shots, the results are completed correctly, and signed/dated by the doctor are approved for AOS based on the DS-3025. Being from the UK, you wouldn't have been able to get a varicella shot, but probably had VH marked on your sheet showing you had chickenpox. Most send in a photocopy of the DS-3025 but your case shows that photocopy is extraneous because it's the original in your medical file that counts, as explained in the I-693 instructions.

I've read your posts but must have missed this exact part with being able to omit the photocopy. Your information has actually been very helpful to us, so thank you. I just assumed that we probably were going to get an RFE since there was no DS-3025 or copy of it. Thanks again!
