I get to type in here now!!

After J1, F1, OPT, H2B, H1 and years of stress and worry I today have my GC in hand!

The actual GC comes via marriage to my College Sweetheart and took from April 29th to Sept 7th to complete. This included an interview, one RFE and many grey hairs.

I have not been able to travel home for nearly 7 years (Jan 7th) due to being in limbo/process since my college completion.

I remember throughout the whole journey people reassuring me and telling me it would work out but can not explain how it felt when I received the positive answer in the interview. Thank you all for sharing your stories and experiences, it has truly been a crutch whilst I went through all this.

I have been lurking and reading for years and want to thank everyone for their advice, stories and information.

Thank you!
