Just want to know has anyone ever called USCIS to check the status of a their case after the 5 month wait period... I did today and they put in a request to have it researched. I have not received any RFE's or anything since the NOA 1. If so, what were your results...Vermont is suppose to be working on cases that were received on May 6. My NOA 1 is dated April 18. #Somebodypleasehelpme#! :clock:

You are not outside your normal processing time. The current processing time is 5months which means 5 months since the date of your NOA1. Your processing time should end on October 6, 2011

It is not unusual for them to take over 5 months. Nothing to do but wait.

Usually people who call get told to call back in 30 days if they haven't received it.
