Todd call DOS, don't waste your time with DHL tracking something that may not be your package.

TimeTicks for a K-1 Visa

WHO WHAT

NVC GUZ Case Number

NVC Date Casefile left NVC

DOS Date GUV IV Open Casefile

DOS Date GUZ IV sent out P3 letter (use this timetick for the GUZ P3 shortcut, found in the wiki here)

DOS Date GUZ IV receive P3 packet

DOS Date GUZ IV sent out P4 packet

DOS appointment date set by GUZ IV

DOS Interview Results at GUZ IV

DOS any results of Blue Slip Submittal (if required)

DOS Date GUZ IV mailed out Visa Packet (Add 2 to 3 days on this for it actually getting INTO the EMS system)

IMO, tracking the package with DHL is useless, as the casefile will remain in a bonded China Government Warehouse, by treaty, for up to 3 months past the arrival date in Guangzhou, before it gets released to GUZ IV.

Good Luck ! Set up yer speed dial, program it with the pauses to manuever in the voice prompt menus.

I think you mis-understood me. Forget about DHL and tracking it. Ask DOS if your approved petition has been received by the embassy. All you need is your case number. It starts with GUZ followed by some numbers. As soon as the embassy logs your petition into the system DOS will be able to see it. Look above at Darnell's post. DOS is your best source of information now. Call them often!

Good luck!
