You will need a different co-sponsor, or for your fiancee to find a job to delay until mom has a job. $20'000 is not enough to sponsor on assets- mom'd need almost 5 times as much, minimum.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

How much is your fiance short? Maybe they could take a second job- even two nights a week flinging burgers at McD adds up. Otherwise, as you mention in your first post, finding another co-sponsor for the I-134 is probably the way to go.

By the time of AOS after your wedding, hopefully the mother will have a job that pays enough to co-sponsor.

Your visa will not be approved without a qualified sponsor or co-sponsor.

The answer doesn't change because your fiance has two jobs- the issue is that you say she doesn't earn enough. How much does your fiance earn between her two jobs? The 125% poverty line for two people- ie if she has no kids or other dependants- is just under $19'000; I find it hard to believe that someone with two jobs doesn't make enough, unless she works very few hours.

Your fiancee's mother past job/ taxes do not count in this case; only current and ongoing income counts. You say she will get a teaching job again next year. When next year? You only need to present the I-134 at interview, so could easily delay till January if that is when she will start her new job. To sponsor on assets (ie savings), your fiance's mother would need to have five times as much as income; ie if the mother has no husband or other dependants, she would need to have 19'000x5= $95'000.

If your fiance earns $40,000 per year, he meets the guidelines for sufficient income. Why do you need a co-sponsor?

IF your fiance earns more than $19,000 per year that is sufficient income to sponsor you (as long as it is just you and him in the household).

Co-sponsors are only needed if your fiance does not earn 125% of the published poverty rate for the number of people in the household.

So - to repeat... IF it is just you and your fiance in the household, he only needs to earn about $19,000 per year. IF he does - you don't need a co-sponsor.

i will but sometime it's difficult to understand soo i need some advice from nice people like you thank you

The important thing to know is that, the K1 visa goes with 100% poverty guideline and not 125%. The later comes into play when adjusting status when the i-864 form would be needed for 125% poverty guideline..

Most consulates use the 125% figure with the I-134.
