What does this mean?

So i responded to my RFE on sept 1st, and i checked my email etc for updates for a NOA2 which there was none, but tonight checking, it says

" Case Status Retrieval Failed

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number.

Listed above are the possible steps an application or petition may go through during processing. Not every application or petition will spend time in each of these steps. Once you enter your receipt number you will see the steps that will always be required for that particular application or petition. The step in the process where your case is currently located will be highlighted. Other steps will appear if your case requires that particular step."

Does this mean anything or should i be calling in?

[sent in i-130, EAD and AOS at once] my receipt said MSC

Hello, I see you just posted this, found this searching google. Im getting the same error, it was just working this morning and now it gives me that error too. I was trying to see my N400 application. Might be down who knows. If anyone else is getting this right now, please post in this thread and let us know.

Yeah-- I got the same message in my case status and I was googling around for the same reason and came across this. I'm following and N-400 case. It seems that the system is down or being updated. Too bad-- another site said that it was promising as the case was transferred for "local jurisdiction" or something like that and I should get the interview letter withing 2 weeks. I'll try to let you know what happens as soon as something changes.

yes i googled too and got both responses for either interview or update of server, hopefully there will be some news, sucks it`ll be going on sunday tomorrow !

I think its down, because when I try to create an account for future email updates it says "registration add failed" sounds like its database is offline.

It also says "The system is unable to validate your IP Address at this time" when I try to sign in to my account.

Got the same too... so you are not alone, they might having trouble in their system though... just try again later or next day

I had my interview on Friday and the IO said the system was down so he couldn't enter my info, guess it's still down. I think it's down for maintenance though

getting same message too... maybe they approved everyone all at the same time and it has overloaded the system lol
