Hi Everyone,

My wife's daughter was issued a K-2 visa just last month. At the time of her interview at the Manila Consulate she stated she would

travel to the USA this coming October, 2011. It looks now that instead we decided to send for her the third week of January, 2012,

nevertheless still well before her visa expiration date and the date where she will be twenty-one years old. I don't see any problem

but she is worrying because she stated she would travel by October, 2011. Again I want to enfasize her visa does not expire until

February, 12 2012. Please help.

As long as her visa hasn't expired and she's under 21 when she enters the US then it won't be a problem.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

As Jim said, there should be no problem because you want to change flights. Just don't push the age limit. Give yourself some time, in the event of a problem.
