We filed our I-130 directly through the Dublin, Ireland US Embassy. We received packet 3 at the end of August. We recently mailed the packet 3 materials (I-230 Part 1 and Notice of Readiness) to the embassy about a week ago.

How long does it take to receive packet 4 (interview letter)? I know its only been a week, but I'm anxious!

You'll get it in time- it usually only takes 2-3 days. Problem for me was the doctor didn't want to post it to the embassy, so I had to collect on the other side of Dublin, which was difficult with 5 months old twins.

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has had more recent waiting times for getting the packet 4 from the Us Embassy in Dublin?? We filed our I-130 directly through the US Embassy in Dublin. We sent off our packet 3 materials to the embassy on the 16th November 2011. We have now been waiting to get an interview date for a little over 8 weeks. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience with the Dublin embassy and if there is anything I can do about it, as I know they say you shouldn't contact them directly. My husband has had to move to the US already as he had to start college 2 weeks ago, so I'm getting a bit crazy about the delay at this stage!! Any help/advice would be great!
