Hi everyone! I was interested in sending a request to expedite my case due to financial hardship. My hours were cut at work and university bills are crazy high as well as all other bills in the house. I have proof of all bills and of the hour shortage at work. Would this be a good enough reason to expedite a process?

I doubt it. These are all YOUR expenses, not expenses relating your yourself AND the immigrant. If you didn't have a husband what would you do?

That said, doesn't hurt anything to ask/try does it?

If you can't afford your existing household bills, how does adding another person to support help explain financial hardship. Your wife could be without a job for a year or more in this encomony, you yourself just gave support to the fact the the job market in your area was in a decline with your own job hours being cut.

In saying this "nothing beats a failure if you don't try"
