Your case number should be the number you got from either your NOA(1or2) or NVC (for cr1 visas i know its the NVC number not sure about K1)

I'll take a Long Shot so this is not Gold Advive.

Your Timeline already indicates your NOA2, then you state: You got a letter from your Embassy in your Country. (Well, if went from the NVC to your Country you have a Case Number issued by NVC and not your NOA2 Number) I don't think the beneficiary will get a Declaration on a NOA2.

I say this because I never heard of Declaration after a NOA2 approval. But anything is posible here.

I believe they are asking for your NVC# but I don't know Romania.

NVC 1-603-334-0700

Write your NVC number and include a copy of your NOA2 is what I suggest. Kinda covers both bases.

Yes like Tim/Mav said it is the same as the NVC number and I imagine you would have got this number in the email or letter from the embassy which had the instructions. The first 3 letters of it probably could stand for an abbreviation for your embassy/consulate.

In my case they also send the case number on the subject line of the emails from the embassy.

Good luck with your interview.

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!
