Few question before Islamabad interview.

Timeline

1. I have submit all fee to NVC is there any fee i have to pay when i go to U.S Embassy in islambad for the interview ?

2. My wife have sent all supporting documents to the NVC already (financial evidence, Joint bank account proofs, My health insurance proof etc..), . Do i have to bring these document again for my interview if yes then why ?

3. We have already submit my 2X2 pictures to NVC do i have to take pictures again ?

4. During my interview on what document interview guy will take my signature what is that thing does anybody know about t?

There are no fees left to pay at the embassy for CR1 visa... you will have to pay for the shuttle service to get to the embassy and i think it was around 500 rupees roundtrip (i think my husband told me that)

Yes bring the document copies .... its always best... during my husbands interview they were looking in their file to find a specific paper and couldnt find it finally my husband took it out of his own copies and showed them so that saved us a little time (they still asked for a document we had no way of knowing they needed but that was our case specific issue nothing that everyone would need)

yes you still need more passport size photos (not sure if it's 2 or 4)... not sure why but you must take them it is required

usually the first time they call you to the window they look over your documents and ask you to take an oath and sign you DS230 2nd page and then sometimes they do the interview right at that time and sometimes they ask you to take a seat and call you back again

06/15/2011 Interview result AP
06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

LOL its not scary... go into the interview remembering that these are only ppl too ... its just they have to have a lot of information because in a small amount of time they have to decide a life changing event... thats all :) just be calm, answer confidently, smile be happy bcos it wont be too long bfore your with your wife again!
