i-134 or i-864

for the k1 visa do we need to fill out the i-134 or the i-864 as the affidavit of support?

I've looked online and seen both? So wasn't quite sure. Thanks in advance

I recieved an email yesterday from VJ stating an information update at the consulate in Morocco (which i realize isnt the same country as you are working with)and they are using the i-864 now...or that is what i gathered from what i read. Kinda stinks as i already had the I-134 mostly filled out. Interested to see what others have to say regarding this.

I 134 is for K1, I864is for AOS, one is a sworn statement other is not.

There a few consulates that ask for the I-864 for a K-1, but the majority use the I-134.

I'm thinking about filing both of them. That way you can't go wrong, and there are no fees associated with either forms.

I filled out both one for k1 and the other for Aos, it's not to bad, about the same supporting material. Good luck guys and gals

Morocco is one of those countries that u should just fill out both because they ask for either or so just to be safe ur right to fill out both
