I just don't see why this matters anymore, they obviously have different views on Islam. I don't think you 2 have ever agreed on a subject now that I think about it and this has gone from debates to just purposely antagonizing one another, don't you think?

VP & SZSZ are you going to fight every issue about Islam to death? I would think with Ramandan just around the corner that you guys would be in a more forgiving spirit about this subject.

No, at least not for me. Please don't equate me with Layla and her motivations for following me around the board. If fights are all some see in these exchanges, that's them, not me and that must be all they want to see. I offer alot more than that; what you get out of it is up to you.

I don't have to be invited anywhere, it's a public board and you're not the owner... as long as you use me as a subject to your asinine rants I am free to come and comment.

This thread wasn't about you, Layla, and you came anyway, so don't blame me for your appearance here. But, as usual, you have to be told that it's not about you because you think EVERYTHING is about you.

Your opinions are nothing more than that... opinions. You're full of yourself and it's pathetic. You don't back up any of the ####### you spew with any proof or any scholarly opinions. You call things haraam with no proof and no scholar to back you up then declare your sins halal because you want them to be... again with no proof.

The problem of dealing with people like you is that you have set your bar so low and made the list of scholars you trust so short that the chance of someone on your list disagreeing with you is slim to none. The only "evidence" you believe is your own. No one - no one else can produce proof because you define proof as only what you agree with. Debating with you is like shouting into a deep hole.

Like I said... keep my name off your lips and fingertips and we don't have a problem here... but I'm going to rebuke you everytime you call my name on this board!

Ok first of all, calm down. I am not VP's babysitter and I defintly have my disagreements with her. But what is the point of your constant arugements about Islam? She is not going to change her mind about the say she practices and neither are you.

I am argueing with Shannon because she is purposly insulting me and making accusations about me. There is a difference. I know what you are saying in theory is correct, but do you really think that you are going to change VP's mind about her beliefs?

I didn't start this thread for Layla and she's not the only one on it. And I'm not going to behave as if she's the only one who counts and I should modify my participation to coddle her. I know I'm right, and I don't really care what she thinks except for her whining about being a misunderstood victim; it's so unattractive and that's what I respond most negatively to.

Well said, i did not ready the whole forum, but the parts that I did where interesting. One thing I have noticed on some of the boards is that religion comes up a lot. I am not sure becuase I noticed that the other boards do not do this, you do not see the CHristains doing a big spill or the buddist getting together on the board and having a fight. It is sad when you can not voice your opinion and people not attack it. I am not sure how things go but I was on one board and they asked me a question and then they critizied me because of my answer. Funny, you can not hide being muslims, I mean the scarve in the picture gives it away but whatever. I hope that we will calm down and continue to support each other. This group has helped me tremendous and I love to see how far we have gone. I just wished a few more people updated the timelines and the embassy reviews, more. For everyone that I have pestered about information thank you.
