Thank you for your email inquiry. Mr. Mohamed case’s is currently undergoing a mandatory administrative review, which happens to be a normal process that occurs with visa processing. We shall inform him, when this process is completed on about how to proceed.

questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office at ConsAddis@state.gov.

Just happened upon your post today... I totally understand but if your husbands name is Mohamed that will be an issue as there are name hits on that name... sometimes nothing comes up but many men with this name have to endure several months of clearing the name... im sure its just a matter of time as they dont put anyone thru name checks they dont plan to issue a visa to as it wastes time and money otherwise. We are also 3 months into AP and only got current updates two weeks ago telling us they are working on ti and they see the updates other than this they wont tell me anything else. I plan to contage my congressman when it reaches 6 months with no more info than im getting. I see many ppl contact their congressman early on but it doesnt do much good except aggravate everybody as they can't speed up the process but that is totally up to you.

Wish you much luck with your ap and pray the visa is issued soon.. :)
