were done paying aos already..how long we should wait to pay the IV fee?are we going to wait something from them before we should pay the IV fee or we can proceed soon?but how soon?

theres other fees other than the dos fee ($1070)? I just file mine...just sent it to chicago lockbox...am i missing something?

09/21/2011 Touch (for what?, I don't know)

09/27/2011 2 NOA1 in mail! Dated: September 20, 2011 (I485 & I765)

10/03/2011 Biometrics letter in the mail. Dated 9/28. Appt. for 10/26.

10/04/2011 Biometrics walk in- Successful!!!!!! 

11/09/2011 Text/Email stating EAD card is in production 

11/15/2011 EAD Update

11/16/2011 Approval of EAD sent by mail

11/18/2011 EAD in hand

11/21/1011 Applied for SSN

11/26/2011 Social Security Card in the mail!

02/16/2012 Date when P.R. began

12/22/2016 Mailed N400 forms Dallas Texas

12/30/2016 USCIS received N400 application (Texas Lockbox)

02/03/2017 Notification (online) - Application in interview process

07/25/2017 Text notification that my case was updated. Interview scheduled! Waiting for letter with interview date. 
07/31/2017 Letter received in the mail! Interview date: August 31, 2017. Notice date: July 26, 2017

08/31/2017 Interview - Approved - Oath letter given to me same day

09/07/2017 Oath Ceremony!

You can pay the Immigrant Visa fee (IV fee) as soon as your DS3032 is accepted and the invoice is generated on the payment portal.

PD: 30 DEC 2008

Interview: 04 OCT 2011: Approved

go to the portal and verify that is ready to be paid, if it let's you go right ahead!

You're in the wrong forum. This forum is for IR-1/CR-1 visa applicants. The OP is talking about the fees at NVC.

The email you received, did NVC state they accepted your DS-3032. If so, it should be a few days before it's available to be paid on the payment portal. And make sure you're using IE to log in and pay.

I don't know much about adjustment of status, but this is a Immigrant visa fee, so I'd think that if you are in the US already you don't need a visa.

Oh Im so sorry!!! haha. Its just that Im a bit confused. I actually filed for a visa 3 years ago, but my dad became a citizen so now i guess we don't need to wait in line. But thanks for clarifying that for me. I hope you all the best of luck!!!

Internet Explorer, a web browser. If you're not using it for the payment portal, then start using it now. You'll just have problems with any other browser.
