Hello everyone!

so I had my aos interview today and we got approved. Below is my timeline and some information... Hopefully it's helpful.

Sent I-485, I-130, I-765 on June 27, 2011. Recieved my receipt the following week. 2 weeks later, received my appointment for biometrics. Biometrics done sometime in July. Recieved my EAD sometime in August(I think it was the last week in August). Recieved a letter the following week with my aos interview for Septemember 15, 2011(Today).

Today.

Husband and I left home at 8am.

Drove over to the DMV to change titles on his car.

Drove to Starbucks for mocha and hot chocolate.

Stopped at Mcdonalds for breakfast :D

Drove 45 minutes to our interview destination. (I was a little nervous on the way there, and when I'm nervous I sing my lungs out :D )

Got there 20 minutes early. Sat for 15 minutes and then we got called in.

The interview

It was a woman. She tried to look strict and mean but I wasn't buying that. she looked nicer than how she wanted to come across as.

She asked us if we promise to tell the truth and we said yes. she then asked us to sit. We sat and then She asked us how we met, and why we had our wedding ceremony at our house instead of church. Since I am, excuse me, was an F-1 student :D, she asked if I had gone back home since coming to the States for school, and my answer was no. She then asked me the general questions that was on the I-485 like, are you a terrorist, have you been to prison, etc... She then asked if we had anything to proof our marriage and I showed her our picture album, cards from birthdays, christmas, valentines, etc. We also took presents we got from each other, letters, etc.. she then asked if we both had been married before and the answer was no. If we had any kids, and the answer to that was no too. She then said, congratulations, you have been approved and you should recieve your green card in the mail in two weeks. You can now travel anywhere with your passport. She then, FINALLY, smiled at us. :) I was smiling the whole time though. We then talked about how the weather had changed drastically from summer weather to winterish weather. We then said thank you and left. She didn't take my passport or I-94, and most people say they get theirs taken... Should I be worried about that?

Well, I hope my post is helpful. My apologies for they typos and grammatical errors, I'm currently at work and I don't have much time to spend typing on here :P. Best of luck to you!.

I heard cases sent to CSC don't need interviews sometimes... So you might not even have to! But just in case keep checking your mailbox
