question about getting a SSN

hey everyone

i come to usa in 6th of sep i did read on the guide tht i have to wait 15 days to apply for ssn to make it easy well today i tried to fill the forms and print them to be ready by monday but rly dont know what forms i'm so much confused plz can anyone help i did read the guide but it gived me a nther list of forms tht idk wht r they

i'ma k-1 holder thx for ur help

There is only one - SS-5. And you can also fill it in the SSA office while waiting for your turn.

Yup there's only one form to fill up. You can either do it online but I did mine in the office. I brought my passport and I-94. It was very quick and no hassle :D

Our K1 Visa Timeline

AOS

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**

Don't worry about the SS-5. When you apply in person it is no longer used. Take your I-94, passport and if you have it handy, your birth certificate. After they enter everything onto the computer they will ask you to look over the info. Make sure everything is correct, name, DOB and address especially.
