No kidding... I'm starting to think all the CSC applications which were touched on 4August were touched into the deepest darkest filing cabinet. :(

08/04/2011 - Touched.

02/03/2012 - Received I-130 approval notification via text and email. Website updated as well.

02/08/2012 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

02/17/2012 - NVC generated case #.

02/17/2012 - DS-3032 and AOS bill generated.

02/22/2012 - AOS fee bill paid online.

02/23/2012 - DS-3032 emailed.

02/23/2012 - AOS fee bill cleared, IVR updated.

02/24/2012 - Received 'We have received your DS-3032 email from NVC.'

02/25/2012 - AOS Packet mailed.

02/27/2012 - IV Fee Bill generated.

02/28/2012 - 'Item missing in AOS Packet'. NVC mails out letter.

Mine was touched on the 4th of August too.

Yeah, a lot were from what I've read on here. The other common thread seems to be of all those touched on that day, they've since fallen into a black hole with no activity since that time. :(

Mine wasn't touched in August, but I'm pretty sure it's in the same black hole. Maybe it's just that the agents at the VSC think of their job as a real job, while the folks in the CSC are just out-of-work actors, paying the bills while waiting for their big break : p

Well, here it is 1January2012... 153 days with no activity and nothing but bloody excuses out of CSC. Amazing how backed up they supposedly are and yet VSC with similar volumes are processing right along. Probably has more to do with CSC not processing I-130s since June, with occasional exceptions.

But it's cool, they all get to go home to their bloody families at night. :cry:

Two weeks later... Day 168... No change... CSC is still hardly processing any I-130s (except the lucky ones).. and is still "working on 16June"

April 2007- Met while I was in sophomore year in high school by his house

December 16th 2010- engaged

May 28th 2011- married in Sāo Paulo<3 <3

July 13th- Sent I-130

July 15th- I-130 received

July 18th- received NOA1

August 1st - touched

Sept....Oct..Nov...Dec...Waiting -__-

January 24th- received NOA2 via email

January 27th- recieved NOA2 hardcopy

February 1st- NVC received

February 7th- got my case number

February 7th- got the IIN number

February 10th- payed AOS fee

February 14th- AOS PAID!

February 15th- payed IV fee

February 16th- IV PAID!

February 23rd- sent AOS & IV packages to NVC

February 24th- packages delivered at NVC

February 29th- recieved checklist

March 5th- sent back checklist items

April 30th - interview

I submitted my I-130 in July.2011 and got NOA on July 27th. The CSC people are still saying they are working on June-16th when I called them on january-13th, 2012. Its really painful. If anyone knows a way around it, please post here.

Two weeks later... Day 168... No change... CSC is still hardly processing any I-130s (except the lucky ones).. and is still "working on 16June"

When did u send your I-130?

Here is something to read while we wait.. and wait.. and wait...

Help for illegals

Sure is nice to know that since they skipped the entire process and/or overstayed a B2, they can just do the whole thing while they're together. No long separation.. uncertain outcome.. presumably not even worries that they'll be randomly denied at the consulate..

So, while we all sit and wait and wait and wait... just remember... they just bypassed the whole process and were rewarded for it... Not that I'm bitter about things...

Don't worry. Even when I filed my I-130 back in March this year they said the same thing initially. You will get your I 130 approval in 3-4 months.

Here are my timelines for CR-1.

02/20/2011 - Married

03/14/2011 - I-130 sent

03/15/2011 - I-130 received

03/18/2011 - NOA1

06/16/2011 - NOA2

07/17/2011 - NVC received

08/06/2011 - Received DS-3032 and I-864 bill

08/06/2011 - Emailed DS-3032 and paid I-864 bill

08/10/2011 - I-864 sent to NVC

08/15/2011 - DS-3032 accepted and IV bill received

08/15/2011 - Paid IV bill

08/18/2011 - DS-230 sent to NVC

08/19/2011 - DS-230 received at NVC

08/24/2011 - SIF & Case Complete

08/26/2011- RFE on missing PCC and Case re-opened

08/27/2011- Wife Sent PCC from India(In fact she did get PCC on end of 27th from passport office in India and she mailed PCC following day upon getting RFE from NVC. Otherwise we thought of submitting during interview)

08/30/2011 - Case Closed(Thank God)

10/24/2011- Interview Date at Chennai @ 1PM

But it's already been 6+ months :rofl:

USCIS: 161 Days NOA1 to NOA2

9/1/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

9/2/11 - Arrived in Chicago Lockbox

9/6/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to California Service Center)

9/9/11 - NOA1 Hardcopy in mail

9/9/11 - Check cashed .... and the wait Begin

2/10/12 - NOA2...no whammies, pleaase, email only, no txt

2/12/12 - mother in law past.... She was an angel

2/12/12 - NOA2 Hardcopy in mail

2/13/12 - NVC rec' case ! No expedite, but I worked a few nervIes...

NVC STAGE: .......days from case # to case complete

2/13/12: NVC received case (information only given on 02/13)

2/23/12: case number and IIN assigned - gave email info to operator

2/24/12 :Paid AOS fee and DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

2/27/12: AOS fee PAID on payment portal, Fee was withdrawn from Bank Account. So,is PAID :-)

2/27/12: mailed AOS (USPS Express mail) & was told the NVC accepted the Choice of Agent but havent heard or saw anything different

2/27/12: Choice of agent accepted

2/28/12: IV fee invoice received by email

2/28/12: Paid IV fee

2/29/12: IV fee PAID on payment portal

2/29/12: IV package sent

3/12/12: IV package reviewed and accepted. AOS package not Recv'd

3/14/12: Case complete!

4/06/12 : Interview Date Scheduled for 05/31/12!

4/09/12: Case file sent to Dakar

5/18/12: medical

5/31/12: interview , ap asking for joint sponsor

6/12/12: APPROVED!!!!
