I filed I-130 on May 16, it was routed to CSC and was closed at Sept 1. So you should give about 3-4 months. Having said that if you have filed in March then you need to try to contact them to have that rerouted to some other service center. It has already been 5-6 months.

suggest you call back on monday, see if you are given '2nd opinion'.

The USCIS TeleOperators are mostly braindead - I'll suggest to you that you got one that was trying to be creative in giving you any answer whatsoever.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I called this morning and was told that CSC was touching cases of April 2011. I made the count and realized instead of telling me the wait time is 5 month she'll just say that they are handling whatever month is 5 months ago. Oh god USCIS will drive a person up the wall I swear! I am praying I can get my NOA2 before December. That would be the best XMAS gift ever!

I've seen that there's this CSC filer whose NOA-1 is June 22, who got approved last Sept 21. So maybe that backlogged thing is a case to case basis. There are still those who got approved within the 90-day range.

I'm not sure why CSC is so backed up. I called over a week ago and was told that CSC was working on I-130s (CR1/IR1) were being processed from April submissions.

I received my NOA2 today.....YEAHHHHHH!!! I don't know how they work behind the scenes or in what order. I was very surprised to see the approval notification by email and on USCIS' website.

I wish for a speedy NOA2 for the rest of you that are anxiously waiting. May God continue to bless you all.

Who know what's really going on over!? But wow, big congrats to you--a little less than 2 months, nice! Ours is about to double that soon.:blink::crying:
