FYI: I just called today to get any update on my case and they informed me CSC is backed up and are on March 16 applications. They mentioned there is a possibility of them transferring some cases to other service center to help with the back log! No good news for us CSC filers waiting :o

I called USCIS as well and sure enough, I received the same answer as you did. How frustrating....especially when we see other petitions with a NOA1 date after March 16th already on the NVC path.

Not true. A lot of us who filed at CSC in March are already in NVC processing and many have received case completion from NVC already. I am right now waiting for my NVC case completion.

My husband and I also filed in March and only got approval last week, after more than a 5-month wait. But then again, most March filers here on VJ got their NOA2s in June and July. If you look at Igor's list, you'll see there are only a few March filers still waiting for approval. Maybe the CSC rep meant that they were still adjudicating the remaining March filers. So what they told you could be (somewhat) true.

To what center did it get transferred to? I have heard that they have been transferring them to a San Juan,PR office but not sure how true this is. I called yesterday once again and got different response, supposably they are only backed up with residents filing for family or non direct family member petitions but spouse and children under 21 for us citizens wait time is 5months. Who will ever give a right answer to us?

This is crazy...I am looking at the timelines and VSC appears to be taking approximately 1 month to approve cases while CSC is taking 3 or more months. So sad! I hope CSC catches up real soon. This is just so frustrating! Has anyone that received NOA1 in July/August from CSC seen any touches or any NOA2 that were not expedite cases?

We got our NOA1 in July from CSC and haven't been touched since August 4th, but I'm not starting to worry yet (or at least trying). If you think about it, it makes sense from a "customer service" point of view to tell people that their application will take longer than it actually might. If they tell us that our applications should be moving on to the next step in two months, everyone will start calling them at two months and one week. If they tell us it'll take 4 months and it only takes 3, then it's a pleasant surprise for the applicants and CSC won't receive any panicked phone calls. Even a 1 month wait is going to be frustrating for those of us separated from loved ones, but it doesn't seem fruitful to stress out unless we've passed the original 3-5 month wait time the processing time charts show. It's just a recipe for an ulcer.

Yes, it is frustrating because there is no rhyme or reason on how they are processing I-130s. There have been people who filed as late as August 2011 and already have their NOA2s without an expedite. Check out IGOR's List.

Good luck to all. Hopefully, we will hear something good.
