Guys I am not stupid. I know all the possible reasons for denials. Obvously I did everything right. Any visa is a lottery, just keep that in mind. I will not be explaining anymore that this case was clean cut. It is just a problem of the consulate, and they gonna hear from me with a lawyer and appeal. Because what happened was unfair. We're not a fraud, we're good citizens of our countries, never done anything wrong, and we love each other. And thanks to all the people causing fraud, we have to suffer. K, k? Please do not give me anymore suggestions as to why the visa was denied, that was not the point of this topic.

These people are trying to help you, they have the experience you don't, have seen K visas been denied before. Usually denials are for clear reasons, Fiance visas are generally not denied without cause. You're either hiding something, or the consulate is a one that's notorious for denying cases. If you didn't want help trying to find out WHY your case was denied, why are you here? By all means, go to your lawyer. He'll probably do the same thing.

At least do yourself the favour and read some reviews from your Consulate. If you're as pure and innocent as you claim, perhaps that will give you a better look at what's going on.

Usually it is quicker to re file than appeal.

1. There are almost no reviews on this Consulate. 2. I am defenetly not hiding anything, like I said before, I'm not stupid and I wouldn't want to make things more difficult by hiding something.. 3. Please read my original question, I am not looking for an answer to "Why". 4. I know they are trying to help, but in these 9 months I read everything possible. For my case, nothing seems to fit. My lawyer will do the rest of the wotk, because I'm stuck. I wish I could put my finger on something that was said before by others, I really wish that, so I could know what to do. But there is nothing, I don't see anything wrong with this case.

But her reason for the denial isn't usually given unless it's true. People are trying to figure out why she'd get refused, she doesn't need to give them attitude back.

i'm giving attitude because I'm frustrated now. i gave my story, and people still giving me reasons and saying we are hiding something and things like that. I'm not looking for reasons anymore. at least 4 people from my relatives and friends looked over my case, they can't find anything wrong.

Guys, thanks to all who answered my question. From what I read it takes quiet a while before I can find something out from USCIS, I was suggested to get a lawyer, and I will do exactly that, because I did all i could by myself, but obviously that was not enough. Yes, the embassy in Armenia has a high fraud rate, so probably all of the visa types are mostly denied in THIS embassy, but I will win no matter what it takes. Just need TIME. After 4 years time is definitely not on our side.

Looking at the stats here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/statistics/nivstats/nivstats_4582.html - 51.4% of B-1 visas from Yerevan are denied. That seems higher than most.

In 2010, there were 129 K-1 visas granted by Yerevan. There is no data I could find on how many were rejected.

Worldwide, in 2010, there were 32,288 K-1 visa applications, 30,999 which were approved on the first attempt, 979 were successfully appealed. That leaves 310 that never got their visa.

Based on the overall stats, Yerevan rejected 1, maybe 2 people in 2010 for a K-1. I doubt their rejection rate would be more than a factor of 10 worse than the typical embassy (I would have to think this would be noticed), but even if it is 10x the average, this still gives you about a 90% chance of eventual approval.

SSSSS - you will win here, but it will take more time. :(

Thank you for the info. yeah, eventual approval. This is why I talk about time. You see, a lot of people are worrried if they gonna get the visa or not. I know he will, I just worry about the time. That's why I didn't come here looking for an answer to "why", I came here to look for an answer to "how long"

My guess is that you will be advised to get married and file a CR1 - so how ever long that takes plus 9 months or so.
