Hey, VJ-ers! Here's my situation:

We booked our honeymoon in Hawaii for 4 thru 12 Sept. Then we got the appointment notice for biometrics in Phila and we thought we could make it. We decided while we were in Hawaii that we weren't going to make it after all, so we sent the notice right away. They got it, Saturday, on Sept. 10(I sent the notice with delivery confirmation, of course). But I'm sure they must have seen it Monday morning. My appointment was for Monday, Sept. 12, 2pm. I know I sent them the request on such short notice, so I'm a little stressed and have no idea what to expect, when to expect or if I should just go there for a walk in or just wait for my new notice. I need a piece of advice. :) Should I be worried?

Thank you all in advance!

As you have missed your appointment date and you requested another one I would do a walk in as I did the same thing requested another appointment as I knew I would nt be in town for the orignal one and I never got a new date. I waited a few weeks and had enough so I did a walk in and had no worries. They could not even find my original appointment lol go figure so I suggest you do a walk in mid week is quieter too. Good luck.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

Thank you so much for your reply! I appreciate your help and will do exactly as you said. :D It's much better than just fooling around... waiting on a new notice that might take weeks and weeks. Not nice... :) So thanks!! (F)

ASC Philadelphia biometrics:

Everything went great this morning! I had the copy of the ASC receipt notice(since I sent the original to them to reschedule and I didn't wait for a new notice).

The lady at the counter told me that she needs the original, then I told her what I did and she said: "Ok, we're going to do it today, no need for you to show up again, even if your new notice arrives in your mail."

I was like: Thaaank youuuu!! :) Then they got my fingerprints and photo. Everything was fast and easy and, needless to say, painless.

Walk-ins are more than welcome in Philly, that's the conclusion. Pick midweek, preferably Wednesday before noon.

Thank you, God! Thank you, Barbara J, for your advice.
