I thought NBI clearances take a day to process?

My wife lives in Tacloban City and went there last thursday at 6:30 am and had her NBI clearance by 8:30 am

if your fiancee has HIT, even if you go to main office, it will takes 2 weeks before it will release, and for some circumstances, she might go to quality control interview, just to prove that she doesn't any criminal charges on file

Heh I wish it was only 2 hours. 2 hours to get to Manila and then wait for hours for the nbi clearance to process then head back to Pampanga for another 2 hours again. lol

i wish to retract my previous statement - i have personally found out that NBI system has reverted to the old set up : , in any case you need to renew your NBI clearance - there's no such process anymore. you would need to file a clearance form like the first time.. and it takes at most 60 -90 days for it to release (went to LP City hall to request). i hope this helps

because the previous IT company which services NBI clearances ended their contract and no handoff of software was done - everything will be back from scratch, like a first time application... makes me soooo angry, sad and frustrated about the situation

My Fiancee went to the NBI Cebu Office on October 18th, her NBI expires in November.She got a "HIT"on her name just like the last time she applied cause someone else has same name. She would have gotten her NBI in 2 hours if it wasnt for that HIT. They told her to call them in 3 Weeks cause they have to send it to the Main office in Manila and like previous Poster said from Manila back to Cebu. She took her current NBI with her but it didnt matter.......3 Weeks cause of the HIT!
