Good day!

I think uscis is playing prank on me..just yesterday Sept.14 i saw my I-485 application that it was on Card Production..and then after few hours the status went to DECISION and it says """ On September 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.""""

Is this normal? Does this mean they mailed my Green Card already??

Oh gosh i need enlightenment!! :help: :help: :help:

Thanks so much!

I got the exact same thing yesterday as well!!! I think it just means that on the same day, they made the decision and ordered production on the card, and that just happened to be the order that those two actions appeared on the website. Dud's EAD card only took about a week to get here from when that was in card/document production, so im keeping my fingers crossed that the same will happen with the greencard.

POE: 5/17/2011

Wedding: 5/21/2011

AOS Mailed: 6/17/2011

NOA1 6/27/2011

RFE 7/13/2011

EAD approved 8/22/2011 :)

AOS Approved 9/14/2011 :) :) :)

USCIS Free till 2013!!!!!!!!! :)

Geezz its kinda freakin me out abit, but im hoping that this is just normal. As per your case, that means your I-485 has been approved and you wont have any interview cos your card is already on production. You didnt recieve a notification that your case has been transferred to CSC??

It's totally normal. But!

Your first notice is telling you that your card is in production.

And the 2ns notice you got is just letting you know they mailed you "welcome to the US" letter, not a GC:)

I also got online status changes such as

"USPS picked up your GC from the production"

"USPS delivered your GC to the address"

something like that in the same week:)

Congrats anyways. Soon enough you will recieve your GC!!
